Q: Is Emerald Landscape Supply the same
company as Emerald Excavating?
A: Emerald Landscape Supply is
located at the same facility as Emerald Excavating but it is not the
same company.
Q: Do you accept credit cards?
A: Emerald Landscape Supply is
happy to accept Visa, Discover or MasterCard.
Q: Can you do my landscaping job?
A: Emerald Landscape Supply supplies landscape materials, we do not
do landscaping work. We deal with many reputable landscapers
that we would be happy to recommend if you need someone to do your
job for you.
Q: How much do I need?
A: Give us a call and we will help you figure it out!
Q: How much is a yard of bark mulch?
A: One cubic yard is 27 cubic feet. This translates into a
cube that is 3 feet by 3 feet by 3 feet. One cubic yard of
mulch, when spread 3 inches thick will cover approximately 100
square feet (10 feet by 10 feet).
Q: I only need a little material, can I
get a bucket full?
A: We sell by the bucket or barrel so come over and fill up!
Q: I have a quote for material and the
price is per ton; is a ton the same as a cubic yard?
A: A ton is not the same as a cubic yard. Materials such as
stone, dense grade and often mason sand are frequently sold by the
ton, which is a measure of weight. We sell our materials by
the cubic yard, which is a measure of volume (how much space it
takes up). The difference between a cubic yard and a ton of
material varies depending upon how heavy the material is but a
typical conversion for stone products is 1.35 tons per cubic yard.
So if you have a quote for $10 / ton that would be the same as
$13.50 / cubic yard. It is also important to consider water
content when purchasing by the ton - the wetter the material is the
heavier it is.
Q: Is Emerald Landscape Supply the same company as Emerald Excavating?
A: We're at the same location but we are a different company.
